Job summary

ALDI is seeking enthusiastic part-time Store Associates to perform cashiering, stocking, and customer service. You will merchandise shelves, stock products, operate a POS system, and provide a clean, organized store environment for customers in New York.

Starting wage is $18.00 per hour with planned increases to $18.50, $19.00, and $20.00 over successive years. Average hours are fewer than 30 per week. Prior retail experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Customer service and cash handling experience preferred.
• Ability to operate a POS system and process transactions accurately.
• Retail stocking and merchandising experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with purchases and provide friendly service.
• Operate cash register and handle transactions following store policies.
• Stock shelves, maintain merchandising standards and keep aisles clean.
