British Heart Foundation is seeking a Stockroom Assistant in Taunton for a part-time 27-hour week. You will support the retail operation by sorting donations, prepping items for sale, and moving furniture and large items behind the scenes.

The role requires regular weekend availability and a focus on stock accuracy and safety. Highlights include a dynamic team environment, opportunity to learn about BHF’s reuse agenda, and a role contributing directly to life-saving research.

Competenze

• Retail experience isn’t essential.
• Willingness to work weekends and bank holidays.
• Comfortable with manual handling of large items and stock movements.

Mansioni

• Organise donations for sale and prepare items for display.
• Handle delivery and movement of furniture and appliances arriving in store.
• Keep shop floor well stocked and accessible to customers.
• Follow safety regulations and promote health and wellbeing in daily tasks.
• Identify unsaleable donations for recycling where appropriate.
• Keep stockroom tidy and well organised.
