Job summary

British Heart Foundation is seeking a part-time Sales Assistant in Blackburn for a 6-month fixed-term contract, averaging 26 hours per week across 7 days. The role includes weekend and bank holiday work, with Sundays regularly required, and a focus on delivering outstanding customer service in a busy shop environment.

You’ll help with till duties, donations, merchandising and collaboration with the E-Commerce team to maximise sales while supporting the store's community impact.

Qualifications

• Retail experience not required; passion and customer service focus valued.
• Able to guide volunteers and work with the shop team.
• Comfortable with till, PC, smartphone and email.

Responsibilities

• Deliver first-class customer service in a fast-paced store.
• Merchandise donated stock creatively to maximise sales.
• Collaborate with the E-Commerce team to boost online sales.
• As Keyholder, keep the store running when managers are off duty.
