Sullivan's Grocery is seeking part-time Stock Clerks to support the sales floor. Responsibilities include stocking shelves, assisting customers, operating the cash register, and processing transactions at checkout.

You'll rotate stock, manage displays, and help with inventory counts while maintaining clean store conditions. This role requires high school GED or equivalent and a customer‑minded, reliable team member ready for a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to greet and assist customers; respond to inquiries.
• Detail orientation and reliability essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by greeting and assisting customers, and responding to customer inquiries and complaints.
• Answer customers' questions about merchandise and advise customers on merchandise selection.
• Itemize and total customer merchandise selection at checkout counter, using cash register, and accept cash or charge card for purchases.
• Take inventory or examine merchandise to identify items to be reordered or replenished.
• Pack customer purchases in bags or cartons.
• Stock shelves, racks, cases, bins, and tables with new or transferred merchandise.
• Receive, open, unpack and issue sales floor merchandise.
• Clean display cases, shelves, and aisles.
• Compare merchandise invoices to items actually received to ensure shipments are correct.
• Requisition merchandise from supplier based on available space, merchandise on hand, customer demand, or advertised specials.
• Transport packages to customers' vehicles.
• Stamp, attach, or change price tags on merchandise, referring to price list.
• Design and set up advertising signs and displays of merchandise on shelves, counters, or tables to attract customers and promote sales.
• Load and unload delivery trucks.
• Stock merchandise in accordance to store sets.
• Maintain store and shelf conditions.
• Clean cases, floors, parking lot, backroom, bathrooms, and loading and unloading areas.
• Rotate all merchandise being stocked.
