Job summary

Clarks Market Inc. is seeking a part-time Center Store/Grocery Associate to maintain grocery aisles, stock shelves, and assist customers. You will unload deliveries, rotate stock by FIFO, manage displays, label products, and keep areas clean and organized.

You will greet customers, answer questions, provide product information, escalate complaints to the Grocery Manager, and help train new associates. Flexible schedule, standing/walking required, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
• Willingness to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Unload deliveries and stock shelves with products.
• Rotate products using FIFO to minimize waste.
• Monitor inventory and inform Grocery Manager of low stock.
• Maintain attractive displays and endcaps per store guidelines.
• Label products with prices and expiration dates.
• Greet customers and assist them in locating products.
• Escalate issues to Grocery Manager when needed.
• Train new associates and support peak times as directed.
• Follow safety, sanitation, and health standards.
