Job summary

Foot Locker is looking for a team member to support stockroom operations and sales floor activities in Newark, Delaware. You will ensure shipments are received, stock is organized, and products are ready for customers, helping the store run smoothly and deliver a great shopping experience.

Ideal candidates have 6–9 months of retail experience, a passion for footwear and youth culture, and are comfortable engaging with customers. Flexible hours (evenings, weekends, holidays) are required.

Qualifications

• 6-9 months of retail experience preferred.
• Passion for footwear, fashion, sport, and youth culture.
• Comfortable talking with people and helping customers.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Reliable, motivated, a great teammate, and eager to learn.

Responsibilities

• Receive, process, and accurately check all incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Assist in processing all inventory movements between the store and distribution centers.
• Maintain a clean, organized stockroom in alignment with company standards and safety requirements.
• Ensure appropriate stock levels are maintained and that sizes and styles are available and easy to locate.
• Prepare merchandise for the sales floor, including labeling, steaming, and organizing display shoes.
• Support sales associates by ensuring products are readily available to maximize the shopping experience.
• Respond quickly and accurately to product requests from the sales floor.
• Assist the team where needed to ensure the store runs smoothly during peak and non-peak hours.
