Description of Duties

Title: Stock Associate - Part Time

Classification: Non-Exempt

Pay Rate*: $24.00/hour

Store Hours: Monday through Saturday 10AM-6PM, Sunday 11AM-5PM

Location: 384 Bleecker St. New York, NY 10014

We are seeking a positive, highly motivated Part Time Stock Associate to join our Bleeker store location in New York. A Dôen stock associate is an essential partner for the Store Manager and Sales Team, to help ensure exceptional service is provided by maintaining all aspects of stock and inventory. The stock associate reports to the Store and Assistant Manager. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Leadership

1. Maximize the store's sales growth and profitability by maintaining stockroom and ensuring inventory accuracy.
2. Manage monthly and yearly inventory counts.
3. Manage return to warehouse merchandise on a weekly and monthly basis.
4. Manage stock discrepancies in partnership with the Store Manager and Operations team.
5. Maintain awareness of inventory systematically and visually, ensuring that discrepancies are communicated and adjusted in a timely manner.

General

1. Arrive on time and floor-ready while maintaining a professional presence that reflects the Dôen brand.
2. Understand and execute all store operations, policies, and procedures in reference to inventory management.
3. Maintain the stock room in an organized, clean, user-friendly manner.
4. Assist and support in execution of monthly merchandising floor sets.
5. Ensure efficiency of product flow within all available stock locations.
6. Assist sales team with locating stock to promote sales.
7. Oversee inventory errors, in partnership with store management.
8. Handle receiving process, including verification of shipment, Netsuite receiving process, and shipment discrepancies.
9. Be proactive and take initiative.
10. Respond promptly to internal and external communication.
11. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
12. Protect store assets and inventory.
13. Understand and follow employee handbook and company guidelines including but not limited to core values, dress code guidelines and customer service guidelines.

Customer Service

1. Greet customers in a timely, professional and engaging manner, and support sales team and check out, as needed.
2. Be able to drive business by maintaining the stock room and ensure inventory accuracy.
3. Assist the sales team with meeting and exceeding sales and productivity goals.

Qualifications

1. Minimum 2 years experience in a fashion retail stock and inventory environment, luxury retail preferred.
2. Technological competency and computer literacy; experience in Shopify and Netsuite required.
3. Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
4. Detail-oriented and problem solver with a focus on improving processes.
5. Ability to work a flexible schedule including holidays and weekends.

Physical Requirements

1. Must be able to perform essential duties satisfactorily with reasonable accommodation.
2. Verbal and written communication with others.
3. Able to lift/carry/move/push/pull objects up to 25lbs minimum including fixtures and product.
4. Able to walk, sit and stand for periods of time.
5. Able to operate equipment such as computers, copy machines, phones.
6. Must be able to access various areas of a given location, including off site storage.
