POSITION SUMMARY:

The Stock & Sales Associate is responsible for receiving products in a timely manner, identifying shipping discrepancies by referencing packing slips, reporting damaged cartons/products, identifying low stock items, moving boxes in a safe manner to/from storage unit, and replenishing shelves and tables in boutique using L’Occitane schematics. You will also be responsible for providing excellent customer service, building brand awareness and will have weekly KPI goals.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Receiving product in a timely manner under the supervision of the Boutique Manager
  • Identifying shipping discrepancies by referencing packing slips
  • Reporting damaged cartons/products
  • Completing weekly Shipping Survey
  • Safely moving boxes from storage unit to/from boutique following Safe Lifting Techniques and maintaining organization in the storage unit
  • Identifying low stock items and communicating immediately to Boutique Manager
  • Replenishing shelves and tables throughout the boutique following the L’Occitane schematics and merchandising guidelines
  • Assisting with merchandising, campaign changes, kit building and gift wrapping
  • Unpacking products in a safe and timely manner
  • Breaking down/separating all recycling and garbage items, and disposing according to mall/street front requirements
  • Providing excellent customer service to all customers through excellent product knowledge communication
  • Assisting customers with their choice of products
  • Following all company policies and procedures with regard to POS usage
  • Communicating with all Head Office departments as required (Marketing, Retail)
  • Creating and maintaining all inventory related documents
  • Completing other duties as assigned

  • 1-2 years of experience in general labor

  • Must be flexible to work evenings and weekends as needed

Working conditions & Physical requirements

  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods throughout work day
