Job summary

Home Care Network, Inc. is seeking a part-time Home Health Aide (HHA) to support clients in Dayton, OH. Start with 22 hours per week with potential for more and daily client home visits within a 30-minute radius.

You will provide direct patient care under RN direction, assist with activities of daily living, monitor vitals, and aid in medications as directed. Reliability and compassion are essential.

Qualifications

• Active CNA or STNA certification with 1+ year of paid home care experience.
• DSP Certification from Ohio DODD with 1+ year caring for persons with disabilities and willingness to serve non-DODD clients.
• Or 2+ years of paid home health experience for HHA/PCA without certification.
• Additional certifications and experience (medication, Hoyer lift) are highly desirable but not required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care following the established plan of care for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.
• Measure and record vital signs and other specified metrics.
• Assist with personal care tasks and activities of daily living (bathing, hygiene, grooming).
• Perform household tasks essential to health care and living at home (meal prep, laundry, light housekeeping).
• Assist patients with medications under RN direction.
• Identify and report abnormal findings or changes in condition.
• Assist with therapy exercises under supervision of therapists.
