United Surgical Partners International (USPI) is seeking a Part Time Sterile Processing Technician to join our ASC team in Scottsdale, AZ. The role involves maintaining surgical instrumentation and preparing supplies for procedures in a fast-paced setting.

Ideal candidates have SPD experience, knowledge of sterilizers, and familiarity with OR instrumentation, with CRCST/CSPDT certification preferred. Work is Monday–Friday, with no on-call duties and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• CRCST or CSPDT certification preferred.
• 1-2 years SPD experience; some SPD GI experience preferred.
• Experience with ordering preferred.
• Experience with all types of sterilizers.
• Knows operating room instrumentation.
• Understands operation of steam/ gravity sterilizer.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and departmental supply items is required.
• Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 10am to Close.

Responsibilities

• The Sterile Processing Technician cares for and maintains all surgical instrumentation and sets up supplies and instruments for surgery cases.
• Anticipates the needs of the surgical team.
• Establishes and maintains sterile field during surgical procedures in the operating room.
