Job summary

Fort HealthCare is seeking a part-time Sterile Processing Technician to join our SPD team in Fort Atkinson, WI. You will decontaminate, prepare, sterilize, and distribute sterile devices to hospital departments and clinics, while maintaining safety and documentation standards.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED, SPD certificate, and BLS within 3 months. Prior health care experience and CBSPD/HSPA certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Sterile Processing Technician course diploma/certificate or equivalent preferred
• 1+ years health/dental care experience preferred
• BLS Certification within 3 months of hire required
• Certification through CBSPD or HSPA preferred within two years

Responsibilities

• Decontaminate, prepare, package, sterilize, audit, and store sterile medical devices.
• Monitor and document high-level disinfection and sterilization processes per policy.
• Ensure proper PPE use, safety measures, and clean handling throughout SPD.
• Facilitate access to surgical supplies and sterile instrumentation across departments.
