Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Health System in Boise is seeking a part-time Sterile Processing Technician to decontaminate, clean, inspect, assemble, sterilize and store reusable surgical instrumentations. The role supports both inpatient and outpatient surgery across the region.

The ideal candidate will have attention to detail and a quick learning ability. CRCST or CSPDT certification is preferred, prior hospital experience is a plus, and opportunities for CRCST/CSPDT certification are available.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• CRCST or CSPDT certification preferred.
• Prior hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean, inspect, package surgical instruments and sets following regulations.
• Operate sterilization equipment including steam sterilizers and other sterilizers.
• Prepare surgical case carts and respond to requests for instrumentation and supplies.
