Job summary

Fayetteville State University seeks a part-time FSU-GROW program coordinator/Academic Coach to assist the program director in administering STEM activities, coordinating academic coaching, maintaining trainee records, and supporting office operations.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree (master’s preferred) with supervisory or academic-program experience. Duties include budgeting, travel arrangements, scheduling seminars or speakers, recruitment, and travel to conferences as needed.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree is required; a master's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.
• A degree in a STEM-related field and supervisory experience are also preferred.
• Ability to travel to conferences and annual retreats as needed.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate academic coaching and oversee program activities.
• Maintain trainee records, submit requisitions, and manage office operations.
• Assist in planning and execution of university STEM program activities; recruitment and retention; process program applications.
• Complete other reasonable tasks assigned by the director.
