Job summary

Campbell Soup Company is seeking a Sanitation Team Member at our Utah facility to maintain a safe, clean food production environment. You will sanitize equipment and facility areas in accordance with SSOPs and GMPs to support food safety and product quality.

The role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to work weekends, and compliance with safety protocols and PPE usage, plus completion of required sanitation training.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize food processing equipment per SSOPs (Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures).
• Perform end-of-production, end-of-week, and equipment changeover cleaning activities.
• Complete facility sanitation and master cleaning assignments as scheduled.
• Mix, handle, and apply cleaning chemicals according to safety guidelines and manufacturer instructions.
• Follow GMPs and all food safety requirements.
• Adhere to required safety protocols, including proper use of PPE and lockout/tagout procedures.
• Complete and maintain required certifications and training.

As a Sanitation Team Member, you will play a critical role in maintaining a safe, clean, and compliant food production environment. Your work will directly support food safety standards, operational efficiency, and product quality by ensuring processing equipment and facility areas are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized according to established procedures.

WHAT YOU WILL DO...

• Clean and sanitize food processing equipment in accordance with established SSOPs (Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures).
• Perform end-of-production, end-of-week, and equipment changeover cleaning activities.
• Complete facility sanitation and master cleaning assignments as scheduled.
• Mix, handle, and apply cleaning chemicals according to safety guidelines and manufacturer instructions.
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and all food safety requirements.
• Adhere to required safety protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and lockout/tagout procedures.
• Complete and maintain required certifications and training, including: Lockout/Tagout Fall Protection Aerial Lift Operation Confined Space Safety
• Perform general housekeeping and janitorial duties, including: Sweeping and mopping floors Refilling soap and paper towel dispensers Operating auto floor scrubbers Maintaining cleanliness throughout the facility
• Work weekends and adjust schedules as needed to support sanitation requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Plant Services Supervisor or Plant Services Shift Lead.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE... (MUST HAVE)

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing or food production environment.
• Commitment to following GMPs, safety protocols, and sanitation procedures.
• Ability to safely use cleaning chemicals and follow dilution and mixing instructions.
• Willingness and ability to wear required PPE.
• Ability to complete and maintain required safety certifications and training.
• Flexibility to work weekends and non-traditional work schedules as needed.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and food safety standards.

IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU HAVE... (NICE TO HAVE)

• Previous manufacturing or production line experience.
• Food service, food handling, or sanitation experience.
• Experience working in a food manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment, including auto floor scrubbers.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation best practices.

Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation.
