Job summary

Snapology of South Broward is seeking an energetic, kid-friendly instructor to lead hands-on STEM/STEAM programs for elementary students. If you love LEGO bricks, robotics, coding, and watching a kid's face light up when their build actually works, we want to meet you.

You will follow Snapology's play-based curriculum, manage a classroom of curious kids, and travel to multiple program sites in South Broward, delivering engaging, hands-on learning experiences.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching or working with elementary-age children (classroom, camp, tutoring, coaching, or similar).
• Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license for site travel.
• Enthusiasm, patience, and the ability to keep a room of kids excited and on-task.
• Comfort with hands-on materials, LEGO bricks, simple robotics/coding tools (training provided).
• Availability during after-school hours (roughly 2:30-6:30 PM) and some weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead STEM/STEAM classes and camps for elementary-age kids (K-5).
• Follow Snapology's curriculum while keeping energy high and students engaged.
• Manage a classroom of energetic children with patience and confidence.
• Set up and break down activity materials (LEGO kits, robotics, coding tablets).
• Communicate professionally with parents, school staff, and the Snapology team.

Pay: $25/hour Schedule: ~15 hours/week, part-time (afternoons/evenings and some weekends) Location: South Broward, near the Miami-Dade County line, traveling to schools, community centers, and our program locations

No lecturing from a textbook here. Our classes are built around play‑based learning: model building, simple robotics, coding challenges, and engineering projects that make science and math feel like game time.

What You'll Do:

• Lead fun, structured STEM/STEAM classes and camps for elementary‑age kids (K-5)
• Follow Snapology's curriculum while keeping the energy high and every student engaged
• Manage a classroom of curious, high‑energy kids with patience and confidence
• Set up and break down activity materials (LEGO kits, robotics, coding tablets, etc.)
• Communicate professionally with parents, school staff, and the Snapology team

What You Bring:

• Experience working with or teaching elementary‑age children (classroom, camp, tutoring, coaching, or similar)
• A reliable vehicle and valid driver's license (you’ll be driving to different program sites)
