Job summary

SHARP Literacy, Inc. seeks part-time Educators to lead one-hour, hands-on STEAM workshops for students in grades K3–5. You will deliver sessions in Milwaukee, Waukesha, and Racine, on a schedule you design from our full curriculum.

Ideal candidates are comfortable in classrooms, able to engage diverse learners, and manage sessions with limited lead time. Bilingual candidates are welcomed. This role offers meaningful, purpose-driven part-time work in a dynamic nonprofit setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education, CS, technology, the arts, or related field.
• Experience in school settings with diverse student populations.
• Familiarity with teaching STEAM/STEM to elementary students or willingness to learn.
• Strong technology skills and problem-solving; prior coding a plus.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Must have reliable transportation to school sites.
• Bilingual candidates will be given special consideration.

Responsibilities

• Lead one-hour hands-on STEAM workshops for K3 to 5th grade.
• Deliver sessions across multiple grade levels.
• Plan and adapt sessions to fit our curriculum and schedule.
• Manage classrooms independently with limited lead time.
• Travel within Milwaukee, Waukesha, and Racine areas to partner schools.
