Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED with at least three years of work experience.
• Familiar with common laboratory equipment.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions; adaptable schedule.

Responsibilities

• Portrays patient roles in standardized clinical scenarios with accuracy.
• Memorizes scripts and delivers case information as trained.
• Provides honest written/verbal feedback to students as needed.
• Maintains confidentiality of information related to cases, student behaviors, and evaluations.
• Receives ongoing feedback to modify performance behaviors and participates in lab sessions.
• Supports scheduling and quality assurance with the Standardized Patient Coordinator.
