• Comfortable undergoing non-invasive physical examinations by health professional students.

Responsibilities

• Accurately and consistently portray patient cases, roles, and scenarios following training and rehearsal.
• Simulate all aspects of a patient scenario, including medical history, emotional affect, behavior, and physical findings.
• Prepare for simulations by studying case materials and patient roles beforehand.
• Demonstrate and evaluate history-taking and interviewing skills with learners.
• Complete checklists and performance evaluations accurately and objectively.
• Incorporate trainer feedback to refine portrayals and assessment accuracy.
• Maintain objectivity and confidentiality regarding student performance and materials.
• Interact professionally with learners, faculty, staff, and peers.
• Promote LMU's mission and values to students and staff.
