Job summary

CVS Health, a leader in health care, seeks a Staff Pharmacist to join our Retail pharmacy team. You will contribute to patient care by dispensing medications, counseling patients, and immunizing where permitted, while supporting the Pharmacy Manager and ensuring safe, compliant operations.

In this role you will lead by example, coach staff, and uphold CVS standards, focusing on accurate dispensing, patient safety, and team collaboration in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Manage and improve patient health through safe dispensing, counseling, and immunizing practices.
• Oversee pharmacy operations in the absence of the Pharmacy Manager.
• Support immunization delivery and correct prescription fulfillment.
• Lead pharmacy team with coaching and feedback to improve performance.
• Ensure compliance with state Board of Pharmacy regulations and CVS policies.
