Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to lead and support the pharmacy team, ensuring safe dispensing, patient counseling, and immunization delivery. You will assist the Pharmacy Manager, supervise staff, and help maintain compliance with state regulations while focusing on patient care and teamwork.

The role requires a active pharmacist license in the store's state, an active NPI, and the ability to manage duties as the primary pharmacist when needed.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI) is required.
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe and accurate prescription fulfillment, counseling and immunization practices.
• Oversee pharmacy operations when Pharmacy Manager is unavailable.
• Coach and support pharmacy team to maintain safety and quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with state Board of Pharmacy regulations and CVS Health policies.
• Maintain patient care and partner with the healthcare team to resolve insurance issues.
