Position Summary Information

Job Description Summary: Duties involve labor tasks that are routine and repetitive in nature. Minimal training is required to carry out assignments as detailed by supervisor instruction. Times available: Morning shift: 6:00 – 10:00 a.m. OR Evening shift: 5:00 – 9:00 p.m.

Required Education: High School Diploma or GED

Required Experience: 6 months custodial/maintenance

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Provide daily cleaning support to college facilities. Sweep, mop, remove trash/waste, clean windows, clean and sanitize bathrooms – sinks, toilets, floors, walls, etc., clean glazed and vinyl tile by mopping and/or use of electric floor machine and buffers. Change lighting elements, maintain supplies.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Ability to treat all persons with respect, dignity and justice, without discrimination based upon race, religion, color, sex, age, disability, national or ethnic origin, veteran status or other protected status; ability to exercise the highest professional and ethical standards in the use of College time and resources and observe the stated policies and procedures of the College.
