Job summary

Kids for the Future in Overland Park, KS is seeking a part-time Content Creator to capture the stories of student-athletes for the academy’s digital channels. This contractor role blends on-site content capture with remote editing and scheduling to tell authentic narratives.

You will manage photo/video content, develop short-form posts, and feature alumni, families, and coaches, while aligning with our brand and schedule daytime events.

Qualifications

• Creative storytelling portfolio required.
• Strong sports interest and youth sports knowledge.
• Proven social media content creation and management experience.
• Reliable daytime availability to cover events at least one day a week.
• Ability to commit 1–5 days per week with event scheduling flexibility.
• Own and operate personal high-quality photo/video equipment.

Responsibilities

• Capture high-quality photo and video content of student-athletes.
• Develop short-form narratives and captions.
• Manage and post content across Instagram, X, TikTok, Facebook.
• Attend and cover academy events during daytime.
• Edit photos and videos for social media.
• Feature alumni to inspire current athletes.
