Job summary

Healing Strides Counseling in Orchard Lake, MI is seeking a dependable nanny for a long-term split-shift role. The schedule is weekdays 6:30–9:30 AM and 2:15–6:30 PM, Saturdays 10:00 AM–3:00 PM, with up to 30 hours weekly and potential adjustments during tax season.

You will care for two school-age children, handle drop-offs, pickups, homework, light meals, and safe driving in the family vehicle. Travel with the family may be required; a personal room and travel arrangements are provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum professional nanny or childcare experience with school-age children.
• Valid driver’s license and comfortable driving daily on a time-sensitive route.
• Punctual, dependable, and able to start by December 7, 2026.
• Comfortable with dogs and travel as requested.
• CPR/First Aid certification a plus; references (3–5) required.

Responsibilities

• Keep children’s areas tidy and handle light child-related tasks as needed
• Let the dog out and feed it occasionally
• Travel with the family as requested, or care for the dog at home while the family travels
• Communicate regularly with parents about the day, schedules and any concerns

Requirements

• Prior professional nanny or childcare experience, ideally with school-age children
• Valid driver’s license
• Comfortable driving the family’s vehicle daily on a time-sensitive school route
• Punctual and dependable for early-morning starts and split-shift hours
• Available Monday–Friday and Saturdays on a long-term basis, starting no later than December 7, 2026
• Comfortable with dogs
• Strong swimmer, comfortable swimming with children
• Open to travel (valid passport preferred)
• CPR/First Aid certification a plus
• Must be able to provide 3–5 professional references
