Job summary

Cape Regency Rehabilitation & Health Care Center in Barnstable is seeking a part-time Speech Therapist to assess residents, develop plans, provide direct treatment, and consult with the clinical team. The role includes teaching staff, documenting care, and participating in program development.

Candidates should hold a BS or MS in Speech Therapy, have an active state license (or be eligible), and be prepared to work in a multi-staff setting with strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered Speech Therapist license in the state or eligibility.
• BS or MS in Speech Therapy from an accredited program.
• Newly licensed graduates are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident assessment, care planning, direct treatment, and consultation for a general rehab caseload.
• Participate in the clinical team process and staff training.
• Screen patients and develop appropriate care plans.
• Document activities in the clinical documentation system in a timely manner.
• Assist in program development and staff orientation.
• Maintain continuous learning to stay current in the field.
