Job summary

Plymouth Rehabilitation & Health Care Center in Plymouth, MA is hiring a Speech Therapist for both full-time and part-time roles. The position offers up to $55 per hour with weekly pay and a dynamic care team in a continuum of care setting.

You will assess residents, develop care plans, provide direct treatment, mentor staff, and ensure compliance with Medicare and other reimbursement rules while delivering compassionate, quality care.

Qualifications

  • Must have a Speech Therapy degree and state licensure.
  • Two years of long-term care experience preferred.
  • New graduates welcome.

Responsibilities

  • Provide patient/resident assessment, care planning, direct treatment, and consultation to a general rehab caseload.
  • Participate in the clinical team process and provide teaching to caregiver staff.
  • Supervise other assistants, aides, and students as required.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of Medicare and other reimbursement regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, residents, team members, customers, and supervisor.
  • Participate in clinical program development and implementation.
  • Train and orient other staff.
  • Maintain ongoing learning to stay current in the field.
