Job summary

Weston County Health Services in Newcastle, WY is seeking a Part-Time Speech-Language Pathologist to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and swallowing disorders across age groups. Qualifications

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
CCC-SLP certification from ASHA or equivalent.
Valid Wyoming state license to practice as a Speech Pathologist.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and client goals.
Provide direct therapy services to clients in one-on-one or group settings.
Monitor and document client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
Collaborate with families, educators, and healthcare providers to support holistic care and facilitate generalization of skills.
Educate clients and their support networks about communication strategies and techniques.
Maintain compliance with professional standards, ethical guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
