Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program.
• Current Missouri Speech Pathologist License.
• Either: Eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year, or CCC from ASHA.
• Solid written and verbal communication skills.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating patients and building customized therapy plans.
• Helping patients improve communication, thinking, and swallowing skills.
• Documenting progress and progress-based adjustments.
• Educating patients and families to support success at home.
• Collaborating with physicians, nurses, and rehab team.
• Supervising students and rehab staff as needed.
• Staying current with professional development and best practices.
