Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• 1-3 years of clinical experience in speech-language pathology preferred.
• Experience with Modified Barium Swallow (MBS) studies and dysphagia management preferred.
• SLP license in state of employment required or CCC/CFY under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates and treats speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.
• Develops and implements individualized treatment plans.
• Performs MBS evaluations in collaboration with Radiology.
• Documents treatment interventions and patient progress in the medical record daily.
• Ensures accurate coding and charge logs for billing and compliance.
• Communicates results and coordinates referrals with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
• Provides education to patients and families for continuity of care.
• Engages in discharge planning and follow-up recommendations.
