Job summary

Nebo School District in Utah County is seeking a part-time Bachelor-Level Speech-Language Technician to support students with communication disabilities under an SLP. The role involves collecting data, following treatment plans, documenting services and progress, and assisting with direct therapy and home visits as needed.

The technician will collaborate with the Speech Language Pathologist, prepare written materials, maintain records, and ensure compliance with district, state, and ASD

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in communication required.
• Part-time (.2 FTE) position.
• Assists Speech Language Pathologist with services for students with disabilities.
• Ability to collect data, follow treatment plans, and document services and progress.
• Background clearance per state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assess students' communication skills for data collection.
• Collaborate with the Speech Language Pathologist to provide services.
• Develop treatment plans and educational materials.
• Maintain records and reports of treatment and progress.
• Perform site visits including home visits as required.
• Prepare written materials documenting activities.
• Provide speech and language techniques to students under supervision.
• Research resources and methods to address students' needs.
• Respond to inquiries from parents, teachers, staff.
• Transport supplies to sites.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
