Job summary

Amazing Care, Inc. in Utah County seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide in-home and community-based therapy to clients of all ages, developing and implementing personalized treatment plans.

The role requires a master's or doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Utah licensure, ASHA certification or PRAXIS/CF, and BLS; active driver's license and a minimum of one year experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• ASHA Certification or documentation of passing PRAXIS exam and completion of a Clinical Fellow/Externship.
• Utah SLP license.
• Active BLS certification.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• 1+ year clinical experience in Speech Language Pathology preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations and interpret results to develop a care plan and speech-language therapy goals.
• Assist pediatric and adult patients to improve cognitive, speech, language, feeding/swallowing, and social/emotional functioning.
• Coordinate care with referring physicians and other health care personnel for safe, effective treatment.
• Instruct client, family/caregiver, and health care staff on treatment plans as indicated.
• Identify client and family needs for other services and refer as appropriate.
• Prepare and submit documentation per organization policy.
• Maintain clinical competency in the theory and practice of speech-language pathology.
