Connected 2 Therapy delivers top-of-the-line school-based therapies (occupational, behavioral, speech, nursing, social work, physical, and hearing screenings) to students in Utah. We are currently seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide services and supervise SLTs. We pay a competitive hourly rate, provide flexibility and autonomy with your work schedule, and respect your professional opinion.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and mentor speech-language technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure the effective implementation of therapy programs
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of students to identify speech and language disorders and determine appropriate treatment plans
  • Develop, implement, and modify individualized therapy plans based on assessment results and student progress
  • Provide direct therapy services to students with complex or severe speech and language needs
  • Ensure all therapy services are delivered in compliance with the USBE SLT handbook and other relevant guidelines and regulations
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of student evaluations, therapy sessions, and progress reports
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to integrate therapy goals into the educational environment and support student success
  • Stay current with the advancements in the field of speech and language pathology and incorporate best practices into therapy services

Qualifications:

  • Compliant with state education requirements
  • Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist and certification according to USBE requirements
  • Available to travel to and serve multiple schools throughout the state
  • Flexible schedule that affords regular attendance at schools and meets school schedule needs
  • Strong oral and written communication skills with parents, students, school staff, and company staff
  • School experience preferred
