Life Enriching Communities is hiring a Speech Language Pathologist (Part Time) at Wesley Ridge in Reynoldsburg, OH. The role involves evaluating and treating residents with speech, language, fluency, voice, or swallowing challenges within our senior living community.

You will conduct assessments, develop personalized therapy plans, and lead individual or group sessions while educating residents and families on communication strategies.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Speech Therapy program.
• Current Speech Language Pathologist license in the state of Ohio.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience preferred (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat individuals with speech, language, fluency, voice, or swallowing challenges.
• Conduct assessments to determine communication and swallowing impairments.
• Develop and implement personalized therapy plans.
• Lead individual or group treatment sessions focused on speech, language, or swallowing.
• Educate patients and families on strategies for improved communication.
• Document evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries accurately.
• Coordinate administrative needs, including scheduling, billing, and care planning.
