AdventHealth in Dade City, FL seeks a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist to oversee therapy services and lead clinical instruction. You will evaluate, treat, and discharge patients, document thoroughly, and participate in performance improvement while engaging with the community.

Requires Master's in Speech/Language Pathology and valid BLS/SLP licensure; on-site work with day shift. Collaborative team environment and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech/Language Pathology.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• SLP license or eligible (SLP-PROV/SLP-TEMP) as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Oversees care by therapy aides according to regulations and standards.
• Maintains productivity and adjusts hours to meet patient needs.
• Implements professional development and performance improvement.
• Adapts to changes in patient census and assists other centers as needed.
• Promotes safety for employees and patients.
• Supports community marketing and educational outreach.
• Performs evaluations and re-evaluations.
• Creates and updates individualized treatment plans.
• Discharges patients when maximum benefit is reached.
• Documents accurately using measurable terminology.
• Charges patients accurately per CPT and insurance guidelines.
• Uses growth/development knowledge to adjust approach.
• Identifies need for patient education and documents it.
• Participates in performance improvement and quality initiatives.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
