Job summary

Lifepoint Rehabilitation is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth, OH. This part-time, day-shift role focuses on assessing and treating speech, language, and swallowing disorders to help patients communicate and swallow safely.

You will develop and implement treatment plans, educate families, document progress, and collaborate with care teams. A Master's in SLP, current licensure, ASHA certification, and CPR are required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Experience in acute or rehab setting preferred.
• Current SLP license and ASHA certification.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assess speech, language, and swallowing abilities.
• Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Provide education to patients and families regarding therapy goals.
• Document evaluations, treatments, and patient progress accurately.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams on care coordination.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
