Job summary

Qualifications

• Master's degree in speech-language pathology required.
• SLP license issued by the LARA.
• Experience with at‑risk student populations.
• Experience in a school-based or pediatric environment.
• Familiarity with IEP development, compliance, and collaborative service models.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the administrator over special education to plan daily service schedules and IEP timelines.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings including eligibility determinations and annual reviews.
• Conduct speech-language evaluations and contribute to assessment planning.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized speech-language goals aligned with IEPs.
• Provide specially designed instruction to meet communication needs via various service models.
• Document service delivery, progress notes, and compliance paperwork.
• Consult with teachers and families to support carryover of communication strategies.
• Maintain accurate records.
• Other duties as assigned.
