Qualifications

• Current, valid California SLP license.
• Experience in cognition, swallowing and communication therapy is a plus.
• Ability to supervise CFYs or students and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Clinical evaluation of residents to determine therapy needs and rehabilitation potential.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve functional independence and cognitive-linguistic skills.
• Lead and mentor CFYs or students; assist in training Restorative Aides.
• Collaborate in Resident Care conferences, Utilization Reviews, and multidisciplinary meetings.
• Educate families and caregivers on maintenance programs and facilitate necessary DME orders.
