Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Speech Pathology Therapy program with a Master’s degree.
• Current NYS Speech Pathologist license and registration.
• Must have completed Clinical Fellowship year.
• Certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and manage evaluation, diagnosis, prognosis, and intervention to maximize patients' functional outcomes.
• Identify and refer patients for related services (audiology, vocational, medical as appropriate).
• Assess rehab needs through the continuum of care and provide disposition, equipment, education and treatment recommendations.
• Complete all documentation in accordance with professional, organizational, regulatory and facility standards.
• Participate in initiatives to improve quality of care, productivity, policies and standards.
