Job summary

Cedar Middle School is seeking a Part Time Special Education Paraprofessional to work 27.5 hours per week. This role supports students with disabilities under the direction of the Special Education Teacher and remains open until filled.

The paraprofessional will provide instructional support, assist in monitoring behavior, and help in the presentation of learning materials within the classroom and during various school activities.

Qualifications

• Basic computer knowledge required.
• Familiarity with Google Docs and checking email frequently.
• Willingness to learn and use additional computer systems and software as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide instructional support to students and groups to reinforce learning activities.
• Observe and record behavior; apply techniques to reinforce acceptable behavior.
• Assist certified educators with presenting learning materials and instructional exercises.
