Millennium Health in Lancaster, OH is seeking a Part-Time Female Specimen Collector. The role involves observed urine/oral fluid collections, data entry, and interfacing with clinics and the lab.

Flexible, part-time schedule with about 20 hours per week on two random days and alternating Fridays. Ideal candidates are female, have prior specimen collection or medical support experience, hold a valid driver’s license, and can navigate smartphones and computers while maintaining HIPAA and

Qualifications

• 6+ months as a specimen collector or 1+ year in medical field supporting patients preferred.
• 2+ years of customer service experience can be considered in place of medical experience.
• Must navigate a smartphone and computer.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Familiarity with medications/diagnostic codes is a plus.
• Commitment to HIPAA, HiTrust, confidentiality and compliance policies.

Responsabilités

• Collect patient urine and/or oral fluid specimens.
• Process and package collections for shipping.
• Serve as intermediary between the practice/clinic and the laboratory.
• Record patient information, physician order details, and pertinent laboratory information.
• Resolve specimen concerns with billing or patient information in ordering portal.
• Order and maintain collection supplies inventory onsite.
• Observe collection for Millennium Health specimens as applicable.
• Driving between facilities may be required.
