Job summary

Millennium Health is seeking a Part Time Specimen Collector in Fort Worth, TX. The position offers mornings and evenings on Mondays and Thursdays, with shifts 9:00am-12:00pm and 6:00pm-9:00pm.

You will collect urine and oral fluid specimens, prepare shipments, and act as a liaison between clinics and our lab. The ideal candidate has 6+ months in specimen collection or 1+ year in a medical setting, plus 2+ years in customer service.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of specimen collector or 1+ year medical support experience.
• 2+ years of customer service experience.
• Proficient with smartphones and computers.
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.
• HIPAA/compliance awareness.
• High School diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Collect patient urine and/or oral fluid specimens.
• Process and package collections for shipping.
• Serve as intermediary between practice/clinic and laboratory.
• Record patient information, physician orders, and lab data.
• Resolve specimen concerns with billing or patient information in the portal.
• Order and maintain collection supplies inventory onsite.
• Drive between facilities as required.
