Job summary

Millennium Health is seeking a Part-Time Specimen Collector to join our team in Chatsworth, GA. The role involves collecting urine and/or oral fluid specimens, processing and packaging them for shipment, and acting as the liaison between clinics and our laboratory.

Ideal candidates have 6+ months in specimen collection or 1+ year in a medical setting, 2+ years of customer service, and the ability to use a smartphone and computer.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of experience as a specimen collector or 1+ years in medical field supporting patients
• 2+ years of customer service experience can be considered in place of medical experience
• Ability to navigate a smartphone and computer
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• HIPAA, HiTrust, Confidentiality and Compliance policies must be followed
• Location-specific credentialing may be required as part of pre-employment

Responsibilities

• Collect patient urine and/or oral fluid specimens
• Process and package collections for shipping
• Serve as an intermediary between practice/clinic and laboratory
• Record patient information and physician order details
• Resolve specimen concerns with billing or patient information
• Order and maintain collection supplies onsite
• Observe collection for Millennium Health specimens as applicable
• Driving to multiple facilities may be required
