Qualifications

• 6+ months of specimen collector experience or 1+ year in healthcare
• 2+ years of customer service can substitute medical experience
• Demonstrated ability to navigate a smart phone and computer
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• HIPAA familiarity and confidentiality awareness a plus
• High School diploma or equivalent required

Responsibilities

• Collect patient urine and/or oral fluid specimens
• Process and package collections for shipping
• Serve as intermediary between the practice / clinic and the laboratory
• Record patient information, physician order details, and laboratory data
• Resolve specimen concerns with billing or patient information
• Order and maintain collection supplies inventory onsite
• Observe collection for Millennium Health specimens (when applicable)
• Driving between facilities may be required
