Qualifications

• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• ACLS certification is required.
• PALS certification is required.
• Valid NM Nursing license or NM compact license within 90 days of hire is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care to patients with specialty needs according to nursing care standards.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patients in critical care or potential crisis situations.
• Serve as a leader during high-acuity procedural situations.
