Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university (preferred)
• Valid state teaching certificate as required by state/ regulations
• Minimum of one year teaching experience (preferred)
• State Teacher Certification; Elementary/Secondary/ Special Teaching (preferred)
• Endorsement: Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1) preferred
• CPR current (if applicable)
• TB/health documentation per contract or state regulation
• Must meet federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Responsibilities

• Provide quality services to special education students from K to 12 under supervision
• Participate in planning and implementation of student programs with general education staff
• Offer instruction, tutorial assistance and consultation as needed
