Job summary

Qualifications

• Strong communication with students and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom assistance under licensed staff, prepare instructional materials, monitor progress, and assist individual students or small groups.
• Supervise students in various settings (lunchrooms, playgrounds, hallways, field trips) as assigned.
• Support students with special needs including IEPs/504 plans and ELL considerations.
• Assist with activities of daily living and basic student needs when required.
• Perform clerical tasks such as data entry, attendance, and recordkeeping.
• Support library/media tasks as needed and assist with materials inventories.
• Fulfill other duties as assigned by the building principal.
