Qualifications

• Requires regular, reliable, and predictable attendance.
• Ability to lift and assist students as required.
• Familiarity with Google Docs and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides instructional support to students and groups to reinforce learning activities.
• Observes and records student behavior and reinforces appropriate behavior.
• Assists certified educators with the presentation of learning materials and instructional exercises.
• Assists with procedures related to physical and medical needs.
• May assist with self-care tasks as needed (toileting, feeding, and hygiene support).
• Participates in the development and maintenance of classroom management systems.
• Guides students in working and interacting harmoniously with others.
• Supervises students in all areas of the school.
• Operates office equipment and basic school computer systems.
• Regular attendance and job performance are required.
• Monitors students during lunch and recess.
