Responsibilities

• Provide assistance to students with special needs, non-English-speaking students, or other students as assigned.
• Tutor and assist children individually or in small groups to reinforce learning concepts.
• Supervise students in classrooms, halls, cafeterias, school yards, or on field trips.
• Observe students’ performance and record relevant data to assess progress.
• Discuss duties with classroom teachers to coordinate instructional efforts.
• Present subject matter to students under teacher direction, using lectures or supervised role-playing.
