Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Experience with Title I programs is a plus.
• Ability to assist with instruction in reading, writing, and math per district guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance to students with special needs and other students as assigned.
• Tutor and assist students individually or in small groups to reinforce learning concepts.
• Supervise students in classrooms, hallways, cafeterias, and on field trips.
• Enforce school policies and rules governing student behavior.
• Observe and record student progress to aid in instruction planning.
• Prepare lesson materials and displays for classroom use.
• Assist in using computers and AV equipment to support lessons.
• Attend staff meetings and contribute to school committees.
