San Juan Unified School District is seeking an Instructional Assistant I/II for a part-time, permanent position at Greer. Work hours are 8:00 AM–2:30 PM, 6 hours daily, Monday through Friday, with a 9-month/206-day schedule. Salary ranges from $19.51 to $24.47 per hour, plus a 5% Hard to Staff stipend.

Qualifications

• Experience with Instructional Assistant duties in special education settings.
• Ability to run small groups and support teachers in general education and special day classes.
• Willingness to obtain California Class C Driver License within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Support teachers by running small groups and assisting in large groups.
• Assist students in Resource, Learning Handicap or Communicatively Handicap programs.
• Provide classroom support to the instructional team as needed.
