Qualifications

• Minimum education: 48 college credit hours (semester) or Associate's degree or passing score on the Parapro assessment.
• Additional coursework in elementary education or related experience preferred.
• Ability to interact with students, parents, and staff with strong organizational skills.
• Knowledge of basic instructional methods for elementary and middle school ages.

Responsibilities

• Work with individual students or small groups to reinforce learning objectives.
• Instruct special needs students according to their IEPs.
• Check notebooks, grades, and correct assignments as needed.
• Monitor student behavior in classrooms, cafeteria, and common areas.
